Square is the youngest of Jack Dorsey’s two brain children. Psst: the eldest is Twitter.

As usual, Jack is trying to simplify. With Square, he is simplifying credit card payments. Square is quite the success already and the IPO rumors have already begun!

Customers love Square because it has enabled even the semi-sketchy place I visit to get my tarot cards read to accept credit cards! I do love getting cash back at any spending opportunity!

Sellers love Square because of its streamlined pricing procedure. Plus, iPads make for très cool cash registers.

I love Square because I have a crush on Jack Dorsey and his ability to innovate. I like to tell myself, I am simplifying à la Jack by blogging about financial literacy.

We all have our reasons. But in summary, everyone is saying, “Keep up the great work, Jack!”

Capital Gain Distribution

mutual fund  spreads the wealth by sharing the capital gains with shareholders. Another thing to report to the tax man!
