Gift Guide: Acquaintances

We all have acquaintances…those people that are really important to our day to day lives, but we do not share a deep enough connection that merits gifts.

I like to show I’m thinking of them during the holidays by baking them sugar cookies, with the first letter of their name frosted on top.

Customized Christmas cookies fit my three requirements.

Cost-effective:

I buy in bulk. Even if all the ingredients aren’t used up, they’re good to have in the cupboard. But my man learned the hard way that crisco does not taste the same as the frosting it makes.

Unique:

My cookie cutters range from Christmas Tree to Menorah, but my frosting decoration always includes the recipient’s first initial.

Useful:

Everyone obviously eats!

My cookies are so yummy, people make sure they are on my nice list come December.

Merry Merry!
